彭乐乐博士2012年于中国科学技术大学获理学学士学位,2017年于德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校获得博士学位,师从Guihua Yu教授,2018年起在加州大学洛杉矶分校从事博士后研究,合作导师是Xiangfeng Duan教授。彭博士主要从事可再生能源的转换和能源存储方面的研究。已发表影响因子超过10的论文30多篇,其中包括Nat. Comm., JACS, Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., Chem. Soc. Rev., Energy Environ. Sci., Nano Lett., ACS Nano等,被引次数逾3000次,h因子为26,在德州大学学习期间,多次获得校内奖项。
报告内容简述:
Two dimensional (2D) inorganic nanosheets offer exciting opportunities for fundamental studies and many technological applications due to their unique and fascinating physical and chemical properties. Preparation of 2D materials via exfoliation/delamination from intrinsically layered materials or controlled growth from intrinsically non-layered materials has been a key topic. 2D energy materials have proven effective in constructing kinetically favorable ion channels, but the irreversible restacking of the individual 2D nanosheets during materials processing or device fabrication may lead to the decrease of active sites for ion storage and the sluggish ion transport. In this talk, I will first discuss the research progress of rational synthesis of 2D nanomaterials and their applications in energy storage in Yu research group in UT-Austin. Then I will also discuss the possible strategies developed in Yu Group to possibly release the restacking problem of 2D nanosheets, including interlayer engineering and pore engineering in 2D nanosheets.
