章向华教授简介:
Prof. Xiang-hua Zhang
法国国家科学和研究中心一级主任研究员,雷恩第一大学(Université de Rennes 1, France)玻璃和陶瓷实验室主任。曾创立法国VERTEX公司,从事低成本红外光学材料的研究和开发,同时担任欧洲及法国特种红外光学材料研究和开发合作多个大项目的总负责人。曾获得法国IBM青年科学家奖、2004年度法兰西科学院 Ivan Pechès奖、雷恩市荣誉勋章、2012年度法兰西科学院EADS奖等多项奖励。在国际专业杂志上发表科技论文230余篇,在红外玻璃研究与开发方面获得14项专利。
报告内容简述
There are very few materials which are transparent in the 8-12 μm region and which are environmentally stable enough for practical applications. Chalcogenide glasses are glasses based on sulfur, selenium and tellurium. They have been intensively studied mainly due to its large optical transmission window from visible to infrared. Chalcogenide glass ceramics are composite materials containing glass and crystals with significantly improved mechanic, optical properties and photoelectric properties.
The preparation and properties of these materials with potential application for thermal imaging, solar energy conversion and energy storage will be presented.
